This film inverts the usual humanitarian visual grammar. Local actors are the most important variable in crisis response; the IFRC's role is to support them, not lead them.
A peak behind the “How”
Direction was built around dignity: authentic locations, casting that avoided the visual register of victimhood, grading toward warmth and presence. VFX served the compositing, not the spectacle.
